An honest resource for a confusing topic
SimsOwnerPK exists because most search results for "sim owner details" and "CNIC number check" in Pakistan lead to sites making promises they can't legally keep. We wanted to build the one that tells the truth instead.
Why we built this
Search almost any variation of "sim owner details," "cnic number check," or "mobile number owner information" in Pakistan, and you'll find dozens of sites implying they can look up anyone's identity from a phone number or CNIC. Most can't — and the ones that seem to work are either non-functional, reusing outdated leaked data, or operating outside Pakistani telecom law.
We built SimsOwnerPK to do the opposite: explain clearly what PTA's official self-verification systems actually do, walk you through using them for your own number and CNIC, and be upfront about the legal limits of anything more than that.
What we stand for
Self-verification only. Every guide on this site is built around checking your own number and your own CNIC — never someone else's.
PTA as the source of truth. We never present ourselves as an alternative to PTA's official 668 SMS shortcode or SIM Information System portal — we point to them directly, every time.
Plain language over jargon. Telecom regulation and CNIC law can be confusing. We aim to explain both in language that doesn't require a legal background to follow.
Editorial standards
Content on this site is researched against PTA's publicly available processes and updated when those processes change. Pages carry a "last reviewed" date so you know how current the guidance is. Where operator-specific codes or fees might change, we say so explicitly rather than presenting them as permanently fixed.
